TSplus Launches New Android App for Remote Support

TSplus has just released a new version of Remote Support, their screen sharing and remote desktop control software for Windows. This update includes a number of major enhancements and additional features, such as remote support session recording and screenshots. Read on to know more about these changes.
With a very first version released only two years ago, TSplus Remote Support is an alternative to TeamViewer that aims to offer the same simplicity of process and efficiency of service for just a fraction of the price.
Designed for remote support teams and outsourced IT maintenance services, Remote Support enables Agents to remotely access and control computers, including the mouse and keyboard, files and applications to provide remote assistance. Whether the PC is attended or unattended, support agents can easily troubleshoot and collaborate with their team on specific issues using the following tools:
The software has evolved to drastically improve the user experience with a streamlined interface and an easy management tool to organize remote computers, generate a lite connection client, get session reports, customize the branding, etc. Starting a remote session is now a matter of one click, after entering the client’s ID and password.
As a SaaS solution, the Remote Support back-end is managed by TSplus. Sessions are encrypted using modern standards to ensure maximum security.
This week, TSplus released Remote Support version 3.30 which includes a new Session Recording feature. Remote assistance sessions can now be recorded and saved as video files, which can be useful for both agents and end-users to review cases and learn from them. It is also great to collaborate on solutions and more. Along with the recording, this new feature allows screen captures to be taken during all the session’s duration.
On another topic, there is a new available command line which enables agents to send “RemoteSupport.exe /id 111111111 /password XXXXXXXX" to directly and quickly connect to the specified support session.
Finally, options for customization have been enhanced with the ability to change text and icon colors to better fit corporate identities.
