Remote Desktop Two-Factor Authentication
Enhance the Security of Your TSplus Web Portal with TSplus Two-Factor Authentication
Two-Factor Authentication Companion Tool
Relying on just usernames and passwords to secure your online accounts is no longer considered safe. Your employees are using TSplus to work from home, using their own devices to share personal and corporate data online, and then using those same devices for social media and other less secure communications and transmissions.
Simultaneously, viruses designed for broad attacks on everybody are being succeeded by malware customized to target specific companies or individuals. The barriers-to-entry and costs for hackers have fallen precipitously and the nature of the threat is changing.
If you’re an admin responsible for cybersecurity in a large organization, you need to respond to this increased threat with efficient methods. Using the same password for multiple apps, or writing complex passwords on post-it notes means leaving security tokens inserted in computers. All it takes is one weak link in the chain, one impatient or exhausted employee, to leave your organization vulnerable to attack.
TSplus 2FA is your key to a secure world. By providing dynamic passcodes and multi-factor authentication, this add-on is the identity and access tool you need to secure your corporate network or your own personal data. Whether logging into your work emails or company apps, TSplus 2FA allows you to use your mobile or other enabled device to access your remote session securely and conveniently.

Two-Factor Authentication Features and benefits
Easy to Setup
After enabling the Add-on in the AdminTool, you can add the users and groups you wish to use this method to authenticate themselves into your TSplus Mobile or Enterprise Web Applications Portal. Access management is easy and credential resets can be handled in just a few clicks. Should a user lose or replace their authentication device, a new code can be generated quickly and easily.
Easy to Use
TSplus 2FA offers the same convenience for users as logging in to apps with Facebook or Twitter, but with the added security of dynamic passwords. It’s a two-step verification process:One – At the first successful connection to the Web Application Portal, the user will need to configure a TSplus account on the authenticator app using the QR Code displayed on the screen. Two – At future connections, the user will always have to enter two pieces of information: his credentials and the security code generated in one click by the authenticator app or received by SMS on his device.
Extra Layer of Security
TSplus 2FA drastically reduces the risk of hacks, providing strong and frictionless passwords to authenticate to the web applications portal. With a single touch users can generate dynamic and one-time number combinations (the verification codes are generally reset every 30 seconds) to supplement static usernames and passwords with added security. It means that even if the passwords are acquired, they cannot be reused or sold. In order to provide maximum security, RDP connections are denied for 2FA enabled users. Only portal connections remains.
Available offline and on Multiple Devices
TSplus Two Factor Authentication is offline and user-generated to provide the traditional and historical method of two-factor authentication on your device without any extra hardware required. Having it installed allows users to authenticate using generated passwords through their device even when those devices are offline. Additionally, the authenticator apps are available on nearly every mobile device on the market today: iPhones, iPads, Android phones, Android tablets, Linux….
